QUALITY STANDARDS

In 2005, HOC achieved the designation of being an ISO 9001-2000 certified facility. ISO is an internationally acclaimed quality system that is respected worldwide.

   Our quality processes are audited on a regular basis in order to ensure that we are achieving continuous improvement in all areas of our business. From product development through production and logistics each area of our organization is critiqued by both customers and contemporaries in order to identify areas of opportunity.

   Additionally, all finished goods are coded to ensure traceability from a finished product on a shelf back through to each of the components used to produce it. HOC maintains a full service quality control lab that is focused on achieving the high standard of quality in our finished goods. HOC’s quality assurance procedures reduce the risk of non-conforming components being received and used for production.

   Fluids are checked at the delivery vessel as well as in-line the day of production. Our lab also maintains fluid retain samples of each batch and production-run for two years. Similar quality assurance processes are carried out for every component HOC uses. The result is a top-quality finished good that HOC’s customers have come to expect.

   As a component of our ISO procedures we send questionnaires to our clients annually, asking them to review and report on our performance. The results of these mailings are reviewed at our ISO Management Review meetings. We value our customers’ feedback as a tool to obtain one of our key objectives - Continuous Improvement.
